(endo-7-Methyl-3-borabicyclo[3.3.1]nonyl-3)-8-hydroxyquinolinate has been synthesized, and it has been established that its bicyclononane ring structure exists in the chair-boat conformation. The cyclohexane ring has the boat form. The B-O bond of the hydroxyquinoline fragment is fixed in the endo position.
