Abstract:
1. The most frequently occurring structural classes of organic molecular crystals of nitro compounds were identified by statistical analysis of their packings. 2. Most crystals of nitro compounds belong to the monoclinic, orthorhombic, and triclinic systems. The mostrepresentative structural classes for nitro compounds are the classes P21/c, Z=4(1); P1, Z=2(1); and P212121, Z=4(1).
