Abstract: A novel family of difluoroboryl chelate complexes bearing benzothiazolyl fragment is described. The complexes are obtained from the readily available hydrazones derived from 2-benzo[d]thiazolyl-substituted hydrazine and carbonyl compounds. The obtained complexes were studied by X-ray diffraction analysis. Photophysical measurements allowed to observe aggregation induced emission phenomenon for some compounds.
