Реферат: A series of 1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-amines with substituents containing SO2 group located at position 5 were obtained in good yields (63–81%) by cyclization of aryl(benzyl)sulfonylacetic or aryl(benzyl)sulfonylpropionic acids with thiosemicarbazide in refluxing POCl3.
