1. A study has been made of the action of diethylamine, sodiomalonic ester, sodium sulfide, and sodium methoxide on 3,3,3-trichloropropene and 1,1,3-trichloropropene. It has been shown that in all cases, the reaction with 3,3,3-trichloropropene is accompanied by allyl rearrangement, so that the products are the same as those obtained by the action of the same reagents on 1,1,3-trichloropropene. 2. A study has been made of the action of organomagnesium compounds on 3,3,3- and 1,1,3-trichloropropenes. It has been shown that the alkylation of 3,3,3-trichloropropene is accompanied by allyl rearrangement. 3. A study has been made of the action of cuprous cyanide on 3,3,3- and 1,1,3-trichloropropenes, and it has been shown that in the case of 3,3,3-trichloropropene this reaction Is accompanied by allyl rearrangement. 4. It has been found that in presence of AICI3 polyhaloethylenes unite with both 3,3,3-trichloropropene and 1,1,3-trichloropropene.
