Abstract: An efficient synthesis of N- and S-substituted arylglyoximes via one-pot transformations of available monoarylfuroxans was developed. The proposed approach includes furoxan ring cleavage followed by the generation of α-oximinoacetonitrile oxides which further add N- and S-nucleophiles.
