Abstract:
1. It was shown that N-benzoyl-3-chloro-2-hydroxyvaline is readily decarboxylated with formation of N-isobutyrylbenzamide. 2. 4-Chloro-4-(1-chloro-1-methylethyl)-2-phenyl-2-oxazolin-5-one and 4-acetoxy-4-(1-chloro-1-methylethyl)-2-phenyl-2-oxazolin-5-one were prepared for the first time.
