Abstract: This review highlights and analyzes the key achievements and development trends in synthetic liquid, energetic cyclopropane hydrocarbon fuels for spacecraft. These fuels offer the potential to increase the payload capacity of rocket and space systems and can also be used as an energy supplement to conventional fuels. Research trends, hydrocarbon selection criteria, and development prospects for cyclopropane fuels are analyzed. Furthermore, the main methods for synthesizing high-energy cyclopropane fuels and their applicability are systematized, and the challenges encountered during their synthesis are summarized.
