Abstract: The adsorption of 4-amino-3,5,6-trichloropyridine-2-carboxylic acid (picloram) on a microporous sample based on a macadamia nut shell carbonized at a temperature of 800°C and activated to a weight loss of 60 wt % was studied. The effective ratio of the adsorbent mass to the volume of the solution to be puri fied is shown.
