Реферат: Dicyclohexano-substituted crown ethers are the key components of strontium-selective extractants designed for reprocessing spent nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive wastes. In the process of radioactive strontium (90Sr) extraction, the macrocyclic ligand is present in the organic phase in free and protonated forms, and as an adduct with a strontium salt. The specific features of the radiolysis and radiation stability of these forms were analyzed in the present study with the examples of the cis-syn-cis-dicyclohexano-18-crown-6 complexes with hydroxonium tetrafluoroborate (cis-syn-cis-DCH18C6⋅H3O⋅BF4) and strontium tetrafluoroborate (cis-syn-cis-DCH18C6⋅Sr(BF4)2) simulating the related macrocyclic components at the different stages of strontium extraction. The protonated DCH18C6 was revealed to be less radiation stable to the macrocycle cleavage as compared to free macrocycle and “strontium” complex due to high reactivity of the H3O+ to the radiation-induced electrons. Inclusion of Sr2+ cation into the macrocycle cavity caused an additional channel of macrocycle cleavage at the post-radiation stages of the cis-syn-cis-DCH18C6⋅Sr(BF4)2 radiolysis.
