Abstract: This work presents the results of dehydrogenation of 1-methyldecalin on trimetallic Pt-catalysts based on d-block transition metals (Ni, Cr, Fe, Co, Mn) and the carbon carrier sibunite. The influence of these metals on the state of platinum and on the quality of the released hydrogen was studied. It is shown that these metals do not contribute to the degradation of the substrate through the demethylation reaction of 1-methyldecalin, but affect the state of the carbon carrier, thereby causing methane formation.
