Abstract: A simple method for a preparing of tercyclopropane or 1,2-dicyclopropylethene by the catalytic cyclo-propanation of hexa-1,3,5-triene with diazomethane has been developed. Thermochemical characteristics for tercyclopropane show that it may be a candidate to replace syntin as a propellant for spacecraft engines.
