Abstract: The steam conversion of glycerol is studied on Ni-containing oxide and carbon-supported catalysts. For low-percent catalysts—0.88% Ni/C and especially 1.6% Ni/C, very high contents of CO are detected in the products of reaction, reaching around 35–36% at 720°C.
