Abstract: 1-Aryl-1-hydroperoxy-2-imidooxyethanes are selectively formed at room temperature from styrenes, N-hydroxyphthalimide, and atmospheric oxygen with the participation of tert-butyl hydroperoxide as a radical initiator.
