Abstract: The reaction of 1,3-indanedione-derived donor-acceptor cyclopropanes with phenylhydrazine in the presence of catalytic amounts of scandium trifluoromethanesulfonate leads to the formation of indeno[1,2-c]pyridazine derivatives.
