Abstract: A method has been developed for the synthesis of 1-adamantyl-3,4,5-R1,R2,R3-pyrazoles by the reaction of 1,3-dehydroadamantane with N-unsubstituted 3,4,5-R1,R2,R3-1H-pyrazoles in an inert solvent. The effect of the NH acidity (pKa) of the starting 3,4,5-R1,R2,R3-1H-pyrazole on the course of the reaction and the product yields was studied.
