Abstract: A new method for the synthesis of hitherto unknown substituted 1,7-dihydrospiro-[pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridine-4,3′-indole]-2′,6(1′H,5H)-diones based on three-component condensation of 5-aminopyrazoles with Meldrum’s acid and isatins is developed.
