Abstract: Methods for the synthesis of iron oxide nanoparticles with various modifications (magnetite, maghemite, hematite) and iron-containing nanoparticles with perovskite structure are considered. Particular attention is paid to the method based on the use of microwave radiation, as the most efficient, low-energy method, resulting in the preparation of nanoparticles with a narrow size distribution and a small particle size.
