Реферат: New data on n-hexane cracking catalyzed by HZSM-5 zeolites dealuminated under mild steaming conditions were discussed. They supported the earlier hypothesis on the dehydrogenating role of Lewis acidic sites in the initial stages of the cracking reactions. Higher yields of H2 were found for dealuminated HZSM-5 zeolites as compared with the fresh catalyst. The addition of 1-hexene to n-hexane as a feed led to an enhancement of the activity of the fresh zeolite, whereas it had just the opposite effect on the activity of dealuminated samples. The mechanism of paraffin cracking that involved both Lewis and Brönsted acidic sites was discussed.
