Abstract: 1. The interaction of trichlorosilane, methyltrichlorosilane and vinyltrichlorosilane with the mixed alcoholate of dimethylethynyl carbinol-magnesium bromide was investigated. The reactions yielded three representatives of a new class of organosilicon compounds - trihydric tertiaryγ-silicon-containing alcohols of the acetylenic series. 2. A method of preparation of trihydric tertiaryγ-silicon-containing acetylenic alcohols was developed on the basis of the reaction of alkyltrichlorosilanes with dimethylethynyl carbinol-magnesium bromide.
